Every dark cloud has a silver lining, and
Citizen TV reporter can attest to this after getting international recognition
at the Journalism Fellowship at CNN’s headquarters in Atlanta, USA.
Willis Raburu
Willis Raburu allegedly left the country
last month for the United States to attend the fellowship after which he
received a certificate of recognition and according to ulizalinks.co.ke he is
now a honored member of growing international television journalists.
The CNN Journalism Fellowship was
launched in 1988 by CNN founder Ted Turner and more than 800 journalists, from
123 countries and 207 news organizations have participated in this highly
sought after program since its inception. All this comes after the journalist
had gone through a somewhat rough patch after he supposedly disclosed the
identity of one of the ICC key witnesses something that wasnt received well by
both the public and the International Criminal Court and it was believed that
he would face prosecution.
After this, it was reported that Willis
had landed a lucrative job with CNN. Willis is the son of retired PC who
reigned during the Moi regim, Pastor Peter Raburu. Hongera Sana Mzee wa TRUTH METER...!!! -
