Mosby does not want to release the autopsy
results or other “sensitive” documents because she said she has “a duty to
ensure a fair and impartial process for all parties involved” and “will not be
baited into litigating this case through the media.”
Attorney Ivan Bates, who is
representing Sgt. Alicia White, argues that Mosby is trying to hide
something in the autopsy report in efforts to make sure his client “does not
get a fair trial.”
“Mrs. Mosby is the one who did an
announcement discussing what she said the evidence was in a nationally
televised speech,” said Bates, who represents . “Now that it is time to turn
over the evidence, to ask for a protective order is beyond disingenuous.”
Mosby is also seeking a gag order to prevent
those involved from discussing the case in public.
